Saw this post by rosebloom-arts and decided to check it out. Turns out she is not the only person suffering from art theft by this website, making profit from printing posters of peoples artwork without any premission whatsoever.

I saw i lot of artworks including my own and from a lot of other people!

This is the website. If you search you name you will find some of your artworks they are using. And here is the petition to end this website. 

This is affecting a lot of people, not just myself and if you are an artist either by photography or drawing they are most likely stealing from you too.

Never buy anything from this site! Nothing but a scam, I literally think it’s copying any artwork from internet, it’s not like they are posting knowing who we are, maybe it’s a programming thing that’s why we are able to find so many of our arts there. Be aware. Always purchase drawing through the REAL artist’s link. Of course its fucked up they are running a site like this but also let’s make people be aware of not buying art from random sites.

Hey so for the record-

If searching up your own username doesn’t work, searching up the genre or fandom you usually post artwork can also bring up your own artwork, as some of these images don’t mention the creator’s name, but just aforementioned genre/fandom.

Quality and level of skill doesn’t seem to matter, I recognised that a lot of these images seemed to be pulled straight from Google in accordance with the stuff you search up on it.

I looked up object heads myself, and while I haven’t scrolled very far nor have I seen my own artwork, I’d suggest you check it out yourself-

But then even if there isn’t, there’s still a great deal of reason to try and take the website down and get angry with all that it’s doing

The site is not about selling your art; apparently it has no active links to do that. It’’s about getting you to fill in their DMCA form so they will have access to your personal info. The whole thing is apparently a giant phishing scam. Read here for more details. (Also see this article.)

So don’t go there! The site’s apparently riddled with malware (and I’m running a scan on my big machine right now).

The site is apparently owned by someone in Russia, with hosting in Ukraine (a common dodge). So the US address on the site is fake, and DMCAing the people running the site would have no effect in any case.

The WHOIS listing below identifies their hosting as being handled by Cloudflare.

So the only recourse is to complain to Cloudflare. (And possibly, complaining to the search engines that continue to drive traffic to this site might help.)

Unfortunately, petitioning via Change.org is going to have no effect on this situation whatsoever. Change.org has no power to affect anything legally. It can only seek to influence politicians and corporate or public officials into taking action. The problem here is Cloudflare, part of the business model of which is offering hosting to people who can’t get or keep hosting elsewhere because they’re already on the wrong side of history or the law.

So don’t waste your time with Change.org, which has already proven ineffective in this case. This phishing scam has been going on since 2015 at least, with no apparent result secondary to various waves of outrage (as these people have also scraped Flickr and gods only know what else).

But anyway, repeating: stay off the site. They’re not actually selling your art. They are manipulating your (understandable!) annoyance to get you to give them your personal data so they can scam you in other ways and infect your computer with malware.

(sigh) Pass it on.
